Face recognition photo sharing: one selfie, your photos
Face recognition photo sharing finds the photos a person appears in by matching a selfie against the event gallery. In Vajrun, a guest scans the event QR, takes a selfie, and sees only their own photos from the photographer's uploads, instead of scrolling through thousands. Built by BRANDSWOT Consultancy for event and wedding photographers.

The problem with one big shared folder
A large wedding can produce thousands of photos. Sending every guest the full folder means each person scrolls through hundreds of pictures to find the few they are in, and many never bother.
It also puts every photo of every guest in front of everyone, which not all families want.
How the selfie match works
- The guest scans the event QR.
- They take a selfie on their phone.
- Vajrun compares the selfie with faces in that event's uploaded photos.
- The guest sees the photos they appear in and can save them.
What guests see, and what they don't
- Guests see photos they appear in, from that event only.
- The full gallery stays with the photographer and the families who booked the shoot.
- Rejected shots cleared by the AI clean-up are never shown to guests.
Privacy
A selfie is personal data. In the demo, we show how selfies are used and stored for an event, and how long they are kept, so you can explain it to your clients and their guests. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act expects people to be told what their data is used for.
Questions people ask
Does it work for group photos?
Yes. A guest who appears in a group photo is matched in that photo too.
What if a guest's face is turned away?
Face matching works on visible faces. Photos where a guest's face cannot be seen may not be matched to them; the families still see the full gallery.
Is the selfie shared with anyone?
The selfie is used to find that guest's photos for the event. We walk through storage and deletion in the demo.
